This is from the front porch. You can see the water coming off the roof. I think our gutters need fixed or cleaned out, ya think?
Looking towards Pigeon Mt. Where is it? Behind the clouds and rain!
Looking North from the front porch. Water just pouring off the roof to water the bushes and flowers.
Looking out the kitchen door. Nice and wet out there. And it cooled off so much. I am so thankful for this little bit of rain. It has stopped but what we did get was much needed and very appreciated for sure. My sheep are happy!
I hope everyone who needs rain gets some soon. This was wonderful, if only for 15 minutes. It helped. It's been about a month since we have had rain here. All around us has had rain at some time but it's missed up by about a mile each time.

Glad your getting the rain you need. We've had plenty here. Finally have some nice days with no rain to get the last of the first crop hay done!
Congrats on the rain! Send some our way.
Re: The shortbread--it is All-Purpose NOT self-rising. Thank you for taking the time to ask. I will go back and add it to the post.
Thank you, Kimberly! I always get confused. But I think if it just says flour, it's AP flour. But just wanted to make sure. I need some lavender buds now and I know where to get some!
I sure hope y'all get some rain. It sprinkled a few times after this. We need a good 2 day soaker now.
Sweetland Farm, you're just now doing your first hay cutting? We've done 2 cuttings here so far. And I hope they get more but if no rain, then that's it. I have about 85 bales so far and will need about that many more to get through winter.
