Would be a good idea to put tape around it to keep flies off too I guess. And keep wound spray on it too.

3 months is a long time. I was thinking more like a month. But I guess it's different for each goat too.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01754379649711551718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6405740998298393653.post-15309715305434506772015-08-17T19:02:26.246-07:002015-08-17T19:02:26.246-07:00I plan to band the horns on a couple of our does a...I plan to band the horns on a couple of our does also. Never done it before. Also waiting till Fall. They are the few that we will be keeping that have horns *for now*. I read its best to make a notch so the band stays in place, then wrap tape around it so they can't rub it off.
Good luck!An At Home Daughterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15703109969618447107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6405740998298393653.post-51167503360245088912015-08-17T10:00:39.004-07:002015-08-17T10:00:39.004-07:00My friends up the road banded horns on a 3 year ol...My friends up the road banded horns on a 3 year old boer doe. It took about 3 months, but they fell off beautifully. Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09845268534571646512noreply@blogger.com
